Here is a cute little flower pin I made out of an old pair of jeans to dress up a jean outfit!
Find an old pair of jeans you were going to throw out anyway, cut the legs off,and then cut one of them open. Make a flower template of at least 3 layers in graduating sizes or freehand your flower design right on the back side of the fabric.
Stack the the pedals rotating each layer, mark the center then hand stich - or with your sewing maching stich a small area around your center point.
Hand sew a bar pin or safety pin onto the back of the flower.
Now finish off the front with a rhinestone or a button.
To fray the edges, throw it in the washer and dryer the next time you have to wash a load of jeans. And their you have it! A cute flower pin to dress up a jean outfit!
